Woopsie: Woman Backs Into Husband's Truck Without Looking In Home's Driveway

December 5, 2018

This is some home security cam footage of a Des Moines, Iowa woman who, assuming her husband had already exited the driveway and was out on the road, proceeds to back into his truck without looking. Mirrors, what are they for? You think this family bought all red cars because this woman would be less likely to hit them? Because it didn't work in this case. And, as funny as this was to watch (I love the part when the husband throws his hands in the air!), I can't really laugh because I've done the exact same thing to my brother before. He got super pissed and called me the world's worst driver even though now, many years later, I know that's my girlfriend.

Keep going for the whole video.

Thanks to Mark B, who agrees she should have just started doing donuts in the front yard.

Dude doesn't know it but he may have saved an unsuspecting motorist from having a pretty bad collision.

  • econoking

Why did he only honk once she hit, and then kept honking, for effect? Obviously she felt the hard stop, dickweed. Then the dramatic yelling at the end, such a cherry on top.

  • You'd think he'd know if his own wife was blind or not.
Perhaps that was the problem - her guide dog was driving.

  • Dani

    So did they exchange insurance?

  • Douchy McDouche

Video cuts off right before he goes Ivan Drago on her.

  • spikedeclue

Boy, they must have a really close and compassionate relationship judging by that guy's reaction.

  • Crystal Sandry

I have known this couple personally for over 10 years and they *do* in fact have a close compassionate relationship :) One that can withstand a bit of "you scared the fuck out of me" motivated swearing.

  • GeneralDisorder

Nobody ever yells when they're surprised and jolted suddenly. Never ever!

  • Tigerh8r

My wife backed her car into my truck in our driveway once and the first thing that entered my mind was literally, "Somehow this is going to be my fault?!" (I wasn't in my truck.)

Spoiler alert - I was correct!

  • GeneralDisorder

Man, my kid got into shit when I wasn't home and it was my fault every time.

There's a lot of reasons I'm not married anymore but the big one is how it was my fault that something happened when I wasn't there. Like when she cheated on me and got pregnant. That was my fault too apparently.

  • spikedeclue

Lol. The guy who thinks the wage gap is a myth isn't married anymore. Shocking.

  • Tigerh8r

LOL! Well, that's kinda' our society today. Everything "I" do bad is always someone else's fault and we're all perpetual victims.

Typical Toyota driver... I have been in 5 accidents, 4 of those with Toyotas. They are a nuisance.

  • James Mcelroy

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has to fear this kind of stuff.

  • Munihausen

To be sure, these are Toyotas, so no real loss here. The dents and scrapes will add some character.

  • PUNX

also.... horns, made for this occasion.
don't backup cams also beep when you get to close to an object.

  • Big Dog on Krampus

    she was blasting death metal

  • James Mcelroy

and he was probably watching the road so that he could back up

  • Ollie Williams

That Prius 100% also has a backup camera, so not only did she not check her mirrors, but also the giant screen in the dash.

  • Bosun Higgs

    Brain wasn't in gear.
