Mom Surprises Her Kids With Wi-Fi, Son Cries He's So Happy

November 9, 2018

This is a video of a mom announcing to her two children that they now have Wi-Fi in the house. They're both super stoked about it -- the boy so much so that he even starts crying. I know how he feels. I once threatened to burn a coffee shop to the ground because their Wi-Fi went out and I was working on an important project. "No, you were watching loud music videos on Youtube without earbuds." Wait -- you think they cut it on purpose? *grabbing gas can* I'll be right back.

Keep going for the video, it's sweet and should make you stop to appreciate what you've got, because you never know when I'm going to break in and steal it.

Thanks Cyndi M, who agrees be thankful.

Imagine how he will feel when he realises she's put the 'Family Filter' on that blocks all of the good websites and porn.

I bet he'll cry a second time in frustration.

This woman, who the fuck is she to not have wifi in 2018? Is she Retarded? Those poor children, that's practically child abuse; she's disadvantaged her own children for years- I bet the reason he is crying is relief, he won't get made fun of at school for not having facebook anymore. He will be able to make friends and talk about the things they are talking about, like posts on social media, or funny videos. These kids have been placed in a room, separated from other children and what other children are interested in. But unfortunately for him, his agony isn't over yet- now they'll move on to laugh about how he types one button at a time with one finger and how he's so slow at using the mouse. When he joins them on their games he'll be the worst player on the team and will often get passed over because he can't move the mouse fast enough or react fast enough to play well.

It's like back in the day when we all played pokemon and none of us wanted to be friends with that one kid who wasn't allowed to play pokemon- or that other kid who wasn't allowed out to play that we made fun of for being a baby.

Computer/Technological Literacy is very much a skill and many parents are starting kids off young with tablets to get them used to how technology works. Any parent who doesn't aid their child in this is potentially relegating their child to the lower strata of future society. "Wait, you type below 100 WPM? Typing is a basic skill, if you can't do it we don't want to hire you."

Though I suppose someone has to be in that strata- sure as fuck won't be my kids labouring alongside the machines and getting replaced, only to go live in some drug infested neighbourhood with dilapidated houses like Detroit: Become Human.

Little do they know that those sweet kids are going to turn 180 and become selfish brats with their nose online all day. I mean even adults can't refrain from wasting their time but at least we can make our own rules…

The internet isn't to blame- it's the lefties and society who are to blame.

Have you seen the dire state of parental discipline these days? I mean, people are sending their children to sit on steps because if they give them a spanking, they can get their children taken away.

Literally happened to a friend of my sister's at her school. The child told his teacher that his mother slapped him on the bum when he was naughty, the teacher refused to let the child go home with his mother and called the police- she didn't get her son back for 3 weeks. It scared the living day light out of my sister and her husband- took me a while to get them to properly discipline their children again because their children were being complete little cunts, back chatting, screaming, stamping, etc- then I moved in with them and found out why that was- they're still little cunts now because their parents still won't discipline them as much as they need it (instead they only do it when the kid has been complete hell for hours on end) but their uncle lives with them now, so they know if they fuck up I'm going to come after them and give them a hiding they know they deserve. Those three little fuckers are absolute model children when they know I'm babysitting, they don't talk back, do as their told when they're told. It's not very often I have to discipline them anymore, but the youngest is 2 and a half and she knows that when her parents come home I take a step back- so she turns into a spiteful, spoiled little Bitch. I have never simultaneously hated and loved something so much. I despise her from the very core of my being- but I'd also rather get crushed under a freight container than let her get hurt because when she's being well behaved and kind, she's the most heart warming and enjoyable little thing to be around with boundless energy and curiosity about everything. They say no home is a home without the patter of little feet and I didn't believe that until I moved in with them- I'm actually sort of down that I'm moving out again soon, but also happy to be away from them.

    Technological Retardation at play.

  • Douchy McDouche

    WI-FI 64!!!!!

  • GeneralDisorder

I just cancelled my home internet. Then again I'm also moving soon and don't really need it.

  • Hazakabammer

    Doesn't need Internet = Old.

  • GeneralDisorder

Also I work at where the internet comes from (not an ISP). Even the fastest home internet is gonna feel slower than a frozen turd sinking through January ice.

I spend my entire work day on a computer. The last thing I want to do at home is look at a computer.

  • Hazakabammer

Entire reason I didn't carry on in Comp. Sci. Don't want to spend my whole day in an office staring at a screen, to come home and have my sole form of entertainment ruined by the fact.
Also, I understand the vast majority of individuals are plebs that believe the Internet is a type of techno-magic, but please don't say things like "I work at where the Internet comes from" - it's patronising, sounds like something you'd say to a 5 year old. P.S. Hope your job is future proof, OneWeb is on the way. :D

  • GeneralDisorder

I don't think OneWeb will impact the web hosting industry. People still want to build websites and social media is diversifying again so every time a major social network collapses we gain a lot of customers who suddenly realize they can't just advertise on MySpace or whatever.

  • Hazakabammer

I think of OneWeb as global wireless. The reason most places have cheap property right now, particularly rural locations is the lack of internet- pretty much everyone under 30 (and most of those under 40 even) needs internet for some reason or another, whether convenience, work or entertainment. I see a whole bunch of property going up in value in Scotland when OneWeb or one its competitors is ready for consumer marketing.

  • GeneralDisorder

Yeah. That'll be a huge boon to the hosting industry. More demand to build websites. More demand for things like colocation (because if everyone has internet always it's still gonna be difficult to build a grid scale infrastructure and serve massive amounts of data.

It's amazing what most of take for granted on a day to day basis.

I actually make almost $17,000-$18,000 per month over the internet. I ended up losing my job after working for the same organization for years. I required trustworthy income. I was not thinking about the "get rich overnight" packages as you can see all over the net. Those all are kind of ponzi kind of multi level marketing schemes in which you need to initially create leads after which sell something to friends or relatives or anybody so that they will be in your team. Working on the net has many positive points like I am always home with the little ones and also enjoy lots of free time with my family members in various beautiful beaches of the world. Here's the ultimate way to start

    naww, that is really sweet
