A Compilation Of Astronauts Falling On The Moon

May 10, 2018

This is a compilation video of astronauts tripping and falling on the lunar surface (or in a giant water tank on a Hollywood backlot if you ask my grandma). Even at only around 17% of that on earth, gravity still wins. Although, to the astronauts' credit, I had a hard time standing the first time I visited the moon too. "You had like ten cocktails on the rocket ride there." They were complimentary! You know I can't say no to that. Or you.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to K Diddie, who wants to get his hands on some genuine moon rocks. Be careful -- you know what happened to Cave Johnson.

Great demonstration of 1/4 gravity in a 180 pound suit. Check and Mate Moon Conspiracy theorists

  • Jenness

I can't believe people actually believe this was faked. Because seriously, if I was going to fake going to the freaking moon I sure as shit wouldn't spend time faking falling on my ass and tripping over my own feet like a total idiot. I would fake looking like a superhero with the grace of a gazelle.

    Needs more Benny Hill music.

    The moon is flat

  • TheQiwiMan

That's what happens when we send a bunch of nerds up there!

..of course Jocks wouldn't be able to make it there either.

I'm pretty sure that astronauts are perfect nerd-jock hybrids already. They have to typically have flight experience (Navy and/or Air Force) and there's physical and educational minimums that all astronauts must meet. I hear it helps drastically to be from Ohio. So if you aren't, better move there ASAP.

Life Goal #X - get to the moon. Lunar tourism is, what, maybe 30 years out?

Much better when you play Chicken On The Rocks alongside this video. Or there's a song kinda like that one that I can't find the name of. It was used as background music in the Android game Headless (where you play as a headless chicken and run away catching blood bags to keep going.

  • Megatron Jenkins

That sounds fun! Is it still about?

  • GeneralDisorder

THere's a free version and paid. I had the paid version I got for free from... uh... some app that gave you free versions of paid apps as a promo. I played it a while but that was two phones ago. I never bothered to install it on my Samsung or BLU.

  • Draco Basileus

You know that each one of them had that .5 second moment where they were like "FUCK, I just tore a hole in my suit!" and were awaiting death due explosive decompression, freezing, or radiation.

    In other words "Oh, dadgummit"

  • Andyman7714

And then the escaping air would send them on a trajectory that puts them in orbit. "Little help here, dadgummit!"
