Guy Spends 481 Hours Beating The Super Mario Maker Level He Created

August 31, 2017

This is a video of Twitch streamer and Youtuber Failstream finally beating the nightmare level he built in Mario Maker after some 481 hours of attempting it. For reference, that's longer than I've ever done anything besides sleep or lay in the shower until it runs cold, gets hot again, then run colds again wondering why there aren't enough hours in the day.

Keep going for the video.

Congratulations to this guy. That's awesome. I can't imagine the feeling of relief. Now hopefully some little Japanese boy doesn't do it in 45 minutes. I think he'll have a heart attack. I wonder if the beard was a "I'll cut it when I beat the level" beard.

  • GeneralDisorder

I can't even play regular Mario levels. This shit is bananas.

And I thought putting together puzzles was the biggest waste of time and effort humanity could devise. ("Hey, lets chop up this picture into little pieces, scramble them, then put the picture back together again!")

I guess I'll just never understand some peoples' taste in entertainment.

  • Draco Basileus

Phew! That's a relief. He has his hands free again to go jerk off in the bathroom by himself.

  • GeneralDisorder

He had that power all along.

  • Bling Nye

Somethingsomething amazing achievements somethingsomething lack of sex.

Best part is watching the comments blowing up as he gets closer to the end and then everyone totally losing their shit when he beats it.

  • Reese Rizo

Yeah, he actually did something, meanwhile there are people who spent hundreds of hours just sitting there watching...

  • Meh

Jesus, you really have to be fucked in the head to even try this level more than once. Or did i miss the announced he would get filthy filthy rich if he could finish it?

  • Reese Rizo

I'm not sure, but maybe you have to beat the level before someone else can play it?

  • Xenoman

In order to upload Mario Marker levels, you first need to beat them your self to prove they are doable. This prevents people from uploading garbage levels that can't be cleared or impossible.
