Deflategate: Pikachu Dancer Deflates During Concert, Confusion Ensues

May 5, 2017

This is a video from South Korea of a group of Pikachus dancing to celebrate the opening of a new mall when one of the pocket monsters in the front starts deflating, so a man rushes to pull the Pikachu off stage, which confuses the Pikachu secret service, who all bum-rush the man. What an exciting concert. No word how many children in the audience were traumatized by the events that unfolded, but I know I was.

Keep going for two videos: the whole performance (the action starts around 1:15, and Pikachu tries to return and fails at 4:45), and an edited one of just the highlights.

Thanks to Anthony, who agrees nobody should ever have to watch a man man-handle a man man-handling a Pickachu.

I laughed waaay to hard at that. But it was a slow build. Went from being dumbfounded to dying in a matter of 15 seconds.

Electric shock monsters are not real. Sorry. Neither are fire monsters, water monsters, psychic powers, etc.

Side note: did you ever notice that in hte pokemon universe that there are no animals. There's lots of pokemon though. And... you see them eat meat rather often. You see that in places like ranches and stuff there are pokemon in place of animals of our world.

And... we know that pokemon are universally sentient and capable of rather complex communication (as we know because Meowth speaks human language and Ash's Pikachu is capable of communicating fluently with every other type of pokemon that he or she or shock-rabbit gender isn't actively fighting off).

So... do they eat sentient animals?

I guess this is proof someone in the front row brought their Rhydon to the show..

(Full disclosure: I've never actually played any Pokemon games, so I had to look up what typically beats a Pikachu in a fight..)

Who knew Pikachu had so many special agents? That's like more security than most pretty well-known actors get. LOL
