Officially Licensed Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Star-Lord (Faux) Leather Jacket

May 9, 2017

This is the officially licensed Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Star-Lord faux leather jacket available for pre-order from Anovos. It costs $575 *chokes on astronaut ice cream, coughs up dust*. For reference, I've never paid $575 for any clothing except the Emperor's New Clothes, which I bought at auction before reading the story. I was hoodwinked.

This jacket is made from faux leather and cotton duck fabrics topped with three types of rubberized print.

Jacket interior is fully lined.
Fabric colors are digitally color-matched to the original screen-used materials.
Zipper, grommets, and buckles selected to match original jacket hardware.
Embroidery and pattern details exactingly replicate the costume in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

Cool, but still -- $575? That's not pocket change. That's not even couch change, that is real money. Tell you what -- how much for just one sleeve? I'll tell everybody the rest of the jacket got burnt off during a battle in the process of guarding the galaxy. That's gotta be worth a free beer, right? "Get the lady whatever she wants." You might think I'm going to complain but I'm not.

Keep going for a couple more shots.

Thanks to carey, who agrees the coolest jackets are the ones you've sewn your own patches on. Or, in my case, the ones you've gotten your mom to sew patches on.

  • Shit I paid half that for my Alex Mercer (Prototype) jacket, and it's 100% lamb leather.

  • craig37f .

I think would look great in this if I wasn't so fat.

  • ciboluchac

only an idiot would buy a leather jacket made in plastic

  • captaindash

Only and idiot is more than happy to have something that looks the same but without that lovely stench of death on it? How you could possibly give a shit if someone else buys a jacket you won't is beyond me.

  • kodama

"Tell you what -- how much for just one sleeve?"

But then no one would recognize you, because of the red arm.

  • Nice, but expensive.
    And doesn't look boob friendly.

  • Titty McNipplefondler

    I agree

  • TheQiwiMan

    There's always something less 'boob-friendly'..

  • Emmitt Morgans

    Bigger than mosquito bites!

  • Jon

They probably should have done a licenced Gamora one as well.

  • Jenness

You're an idiot if you pay this for pleather.

  • craig37f .

To each his own. I'm sure there have been things you've bought that others think weren't so smart.
