Video Of 66-Year Old Man Seeing Color For The First Time

April 12, 2017

This is a heartwarming video of a 66-year old grandfather seeing color for the first time thanks to his son and daughters all chipping in to buy him a pair of Enchroma glasses (previously). I don't really have much else to say about it, except I thought it was touching. I also thought something strange was touching my leg, but it just turned out to be computer cable. "Were you hoping it was my hand?" A boy can dream, can't he?

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to hairless and Christina, who agree everybody deserves color in their life. Rainbows are important.

Aww.. I'd touch your leg, GW!

Go ahead, give it a squeeze.

  • Ollie Williams

I will never get tired of seeing these videos.

  • Emmitt Morgans

I hope these videos help to cure your inability to tire. (the second is a great response to the first, Papa bless!)

  • Ollie Williams

Yep. That cured it. I want to punch everyone in both those videos.

  • Frédéric Purenne

The awesome emotions displayed aside, that last sentence got me interested and then the video stopped. I think I would like to talk to him for hours to understand all the intricate differences colorblind people have to their sight.
