Nope: Glass-Bottom Pool 40-Stories Above Ground

April 10, 2017

This is a short video from a glass-bottom pool that extends ten feet over the edge of the 40th floor of a skyscraper in Houston, Texas. For reference, that is 40 stories too high. It's unnatural, like airplanes. If humans were meant to fly we'd all have been born with jetpacks. But we weren't, were we? "Speak for yourself." I've never been so jealous in my entire life, not even when a kid who lived down the street won one of those timed Toys Я Us shopping sprees.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Allyson S and Rion, who prefer their pools in the ground where they belong, like the coffee can full of my life savings.

Am I the only person who watched The Mechanic 2?

41 stories too high. Pools should be IN the ground.

What did the kid get from Toys R Us?

Would be a lot cooler if the view was something nicer than 'road and ugly parking lot'.

No motherfucking way. Nope. Nuh huh. Mm mm. Nyet. Nein. Negative. Iie. Meiyou. Non.

  • Meh

Damn these things are not ok. That swimmingpool will have way more than the allowed and tested 93% pee. Maybe even some poo.

i would swim in the nude that way everyone would know what a baller i am.

  • Big Dog on Krampus

this will add the much needed drama to my chicken fights

I've been here, it's cool to see people floating in it when you walk under them. But I would nope out of that. I have a fear that some tremor would occur and a wave would splash and then propel me towards the curved edge like it was a terror slide to a 40+ story death.

  • GeneralDisorder

I'd be having my own gut tremors if I were in that pool.
