Because Japan loves life in equal parts cute and terrifying (this thankfully being the former), this is a shot of a Senecio peregrinus succulent plant. It grows leaves along its vines that look like dolphins jumping out of the water, just like on the cover of a vintage Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper. Although, at least personally, some of those look more like porpoises than dolphins to me. But what do I know? I'm just a man who probably couldn't pick a porpoise out of a sea-police lineup. Is it that one? "That's a flounder." Then it's that one! "That's a paddleboard." It was him, he stole those pearls!
Keep going for one more shot.
Thanks to Stephanie B, who's going to breed a succulent that grows leaves shaped like every kind of animal and get rich selling Trees Of Life of Etsy.
