Truck Hits Spike Strip At 115MPH, Loses Control, Takes Off Dukes Of Hazzard Style

March 1, 2017

This is a short video of an 18-year old escaped prisoner in Louisiana launching a Toyota Tacoma Dukes Of Hazzard style after hitting a spike strip at 115MPH and barreling into a drainage ditch. The truck damaged a restaurant and landed on a vehicle with a woman inside but she was miraculously not injured, presumably, in her mind, because she goes to church.

The 18 year-old driver, Kevonte Dekorey Austin, was a passenger in the stolen truck when it was pulled over for speeding. Austin, an escaped prisoner who is believed to have stolen a vehicle while on work release, slid into the driver seat as the officer spoke with the original driver and took off.

Both Austin and the original driver were taken into custody where, God willing, Austin will be able to stream this video in the jail's common room to impressive other inmates. 'No lie, I felt like I was flying -- just like Rose in Titanic, you know?'

Keep going for the video while I build a launch ramp at the end of my driveway.

Thanks to hairless, who agrees this kid missed the perfect opportunity to throw a sign of the horns out the driver's side window.

So he escaped work release, stole a car, charged with attempted murder and slew of stuff and his name is Kevonte Dekorey Austin riding with a dude named Durioki (newscaster pronounced it like Dookey) ---I shouldn't laugh because he sounds like a psychopath bur seriously parents WTF LOL. He even tried to carjack another woman as soon as the truck landed and he crawled out!

  • TheQiwiMan

There is zero chance this dude grew up with a father in the home.

The lack of the horn playing dixie is unfortunate.

The video need to be paused mid flight so, the Narrator can tell us what mischief The Duke Boys are up too

  • GeneralDisorder

I'm torn. Would I rather have a Waylon Jennings narration or R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly"...

I think either would work pretty well.

    perfect screen cap

"... miraculously not injured, presumably, in her mind,
    because she goes to church."

So... it's a mirable or not?

  • Matthew G. Soden

You could have ended that sentence with the word "injured' instead of mocking her faith. ( I realize this was in the original article and not your words.)

    What a tit.
