Problem Solving: Dentist Makes Where's Waldo Ceiling Light Cover To Entertain Patients

February 13, 2017

This is the Where's Waldo fluorescent light cover made by a Rugeley, England dentist to entertain patients while he makes their gums bleed. It's actually just a portion of the entire Where's Waldo Fairground picture (which you can see HERE), and he would have been smart to not even include the part with Waldo to keep patients distracted the entire appointment. He's there though, SPOILER: above the trolly with the white and green awning, although the part with Wilma is missing (above the red and white shooting gallery in the lower left). That Wilma -- what a catch. She really seems like the kind of girl you could get lost in a crowd with, you know? Relationship goals.

Keep going for one more shot because I don't know why. *shrug* It was available.

Thanks to Allyson S, who agrees he better have Highlights magazines in the lobby as well.

That is a very good idea! it gets boring laying there in the dentist's chair. I've been going to the same dentist my whole life, and all I have to look at every time is a painting of a "Bird of Paradise" flower that's been there for at least 30 years.

Here in the Netherlands almost all dentists have these posters on the ceiling since I can remember (from the 80's)...

Same where I grew up in Arizona. Is this really a rare or new phenomena?

My kids' dentist just has fluffy clouds over the lights.

  • Durosity

It's "Where's Wally" in the U.K. And also when I was a kid my dentist had an epic "Eddy the Eagle" poster on the ceiling which was similar to where's wally.

If you play "Where's Wally" with kids here in the States you have to go to jail.

  • That would be Where's Willy?" over here.
