Kid Edits Band's Wikipedia Page To Make Him A Cousin Of Lead Singer, Gain VIP Concert Access

February 15, 2017

Teenager Adam Boyd of Crewe, UK, was tired of his shitty view after showing up late to The Sherlocks concert at the Royal Albert Hall in Manchester. So what did he do? What any quick-thinking drunk teenager would, he edited The Sherlocks' Wikipedia page to say that he was the lead singer's cousin AND INFLUENCED THEIR FIRST SINGLE, then showed it to security to gain VIP access to a much better view. What a clever little turd. In his own words:

So last night I went to see a band, but we got in late and our view was shite. In my drunken state I edited the band's Wikipedia page to say I was family, and it worked! I got into the roped off VIP area because of it 😂 Mental

Obviously, I'm going to try this at the next concert I go to, I'll let you know how it goes. "Well?" Didn't work. "Maybe you shouldn't have edited the page to say you were the whole band's grandmother." What kind of jerk security guard denies a sweet old lady a better view of her grandkids?!

Keep going for a shot of the actual edited Wikipedia page.

Thanks to lizzy, who agrees the easiest way to gain VIP concert access is paying the mole people a shit-ton of worms to dig a tunnel backstage.
