A Beer Brewed With OREOs, Complete With Icing Chunks

February 3, 2017

This is the Hornswoggler chocolate milk stout brewed by the Veil Brewing Company of Richmond, Virginia. It's actually aged with OREO cookies and comes complete with icing chunks in the beer. I don't know about you, but I love chunks in my beer. It adds another dimension to drinking: texture. Now let's all talk about how we like to eat our OREOs. Personally I like to fill a glass two-thirds full of milk (preferably 2% -- whole milk makes my butt act out), then throw a handful of OREOS in there. Then I let it sit for about five or ten minutes, stirring occasionally, then CHUG THE SLUDGE. "You're a monster." A cookie monster? "No, just a regular monster." That's what my mom says too.

Thanks to Alan P, who agrees the best beers are the ones shared between friends, especially if they're buying.
