Watching Popcorn Pop 1,250x Slower Than Real Time

This is a video from the folks at Youtube channel Warped Perception of popcorn popping filmed at 30,000FPS, or about 1,250x slower than real time. I learned a lot by watching it. Mostly just how much popcorn looks like styrofoam. I'm not a big popcorn fan. Occasionally I'll have a handful at the movie theater, but I'm not paying for it, I'm scooping it off the floor. "You're disgusting." Hey -- does this look like a Mike And Ike or somebody's multivitamin?

Keep going for the video, as well as another one of the corns popping at 15,000FPS.

Thanks to Jake B, who agrees the best movie theater popcorn is ordering nachos and a hotdog instead.
