Pixar Releases Video Of Interconnected Pixar Universe Easter Eggs

January 19, 2017

This is a video recently released by Pixar highlighting some of the Easter eggs that show just how connected the movies in the Pixar universe are. Some are fairly obvious, but a lot of them I didn't even notice while watching the films. I guess that's why they call them Easter eggs -- they're hard to find. I remember growing up I never found a single Easter egg during the Easter egg hunt, but I did get bit by a fox sticking my hand in a hole. "But we never had Easter egg hunts when you were a child." Yeah, thanks for telling me now, MOM.

Keep going for the video, it's a Facebook video though so if it doesn't work write Zuckerberg and tell him Large Marge sent you. UPDATE: Also found and added a Youtube version.

Thanks to Stephanie B, who agrees Easter eggs are some of the best kind of eggs besides golden and Fabergé.

What? No love for Cadbury eggs?

  • Big Dog on Krampus

while a lot of these are neat, I wonder how many of some of these easter eggs are actually just "well we already had a model created, so we used that"

  • Somebody else

I absolutely agree with you. After dabbling with computer animation and modeling for a few years, I could see them using already existing objects/characters. The magazine, restaurant, and "Brave" wall art had to be created though.
