'Magic Water Marker' Stick Figure Comes To Life When Water is Poured On Top

January 24, 2017

This is a video of a stick figure doodle that appears to come to life when water is poured on top. Is it real? Is it fake? What kind of marker is that? Is that really just plain water that was poured on top and not acetone or some sort of magic potion of mobility? If it is fake, why would you want to trick me, you already know I'm gullible. "That reminds me, I've got some ocean front property for sale -- I could give you a great deal." Well why didn't you say something earlier?! I'll give you double whatever you're asking, sight unseen.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to lizzy, who tried the same thing with a Sharpie on the kitchen table with much more getting grounded results.

  • Colin Bailey

He's using a non-soluble dry erase marker. It doesn't stick to the table very well, but it also doesn't dissolve in water. You're welcome.

im gonna sleep slightly less stupid tonight

  • MustacheHam

Dude, I thought you of all wizards would know that this is witchcraft.

  • Prussian

    It's string.

  • Jenness

Why do they have that fingernail condom thing on?

This is a cool little experiment too, though I wonder how many tables got marked up attempting this

  • Adam Stevens

That "fingernail condom" is called a bandaid.

  • Jenness

OooOoooh. I can never ever get a bandaid to stick on a fingertip for more than 2 seconds - I honestly had no idea what that was. LOL

  • Roronoa Zoro

    Wipe off markers?
