This is a video of sculptors and professors Sarath Chandrajeewa (of the University Of Visual And Performing Art, Sri Lanka) and Cao Chang Xu (of the Central Academy Of Fine Arts, Beijing, China) recreating each other's face in clay the best they can in ten minutes. The results are most impressive. I like how Xu was able to capture Chandrajeewa's glasses. I remember when I took ceramics class in high school I couldn't accomplish anything in ten minutes besides squishing my fingers around in the clay bucket and eating a handful behind my teacher's back. Clay is good for you, you know -- vitamins and minerals. I tried to make a Gandalf pipe but it shattered in the kiln.
Keep going for the video.
Thanks to Greg M, who wants to see them do the same thing but with granite.
