Evolutions: A Touching Pokemon Commercial

December 14, 2016

This is a surprisingly touching commercial for Pokemon Sun and Moon. I'm not really sure what else I can say without ruining it so I'll just relate my own recent Pokemon experience. I was in the mall food court after pounding two corn dogs and an Orange Julius and there were these two young boys at a table playing a card game and I asked them if it was Pokemon and they both laughed at me and told me it was Yu-Gi-Oh! They also called me a nerd and stole the quarters I was saving for an Auntie Anne's cinnamon-sugar pretzel and threw them in the fountain. Obviously, I prayed that night that they didn't get their wishes.

Keep going for the commercial.

it showing that saving your money and working hard for something you really want.

  • larry cornwater

Reminds me of me though. Completely alone, all of the time, unless I'm with my Pokemon....

  • larry cornwater

Okay how the hell is that kid playing a Gameboy Color under a sheet in a poorly lit room? I could barely see the screen when I was outside at noon on a cloudless day....

God bless the currently out of work creators of the 3rd party worm light....

  • asdfadfs

not crazy about the "we moved pokemon to hawaii and added a bunch of pallet swaps" thing

  • I played Pokemon Blue as a kid, and I'm white. So I can't relate to this video at all.

  • GeneralDisorder

I don't get what's touching about this. Am I dead inside or is this just a dumb-as-hell commercial?

  • Roronoa Zoro

I think it's because he found his youth again. But any Pokemon Trainer never left their youth and continued playing through all the games from Red/Blue - Silver/Gold - Sapphire/Emerald - Black/White to Sun and Moon. Heck i still have my Pikachu N64!

  • GeneralDisorder

Ah. So I am dead inside. Good to know.

  • Nope.
    I wasn't touched.
    In any sense.

  • TheQiwiMan

You lookin fer someone to touch ya??
