Score One, Humanity: Roomba With Plastic Bag Over Sensor Throws Itself Down Stairs

November 28, 2016

This is a short video captured by Victor Starenky's Nest home camera system of his Roomba, which happens to have a plastic bag over its sensors, taking a couple laps of the foyer before throwing itself down a small flight of stairs. No word if this was a case of attempted murder or suicide, but it can't be easy knowing you don't have anything to look forward to in life but sucking. Trust me.

Keep going for the video while I set up a Go Fund Me page to syphon donations from robot sympathizers. Bonus curious cat at the end of the video.

Thanks to Simon, who purposefully sets up American Gladiator Eliminator style obstacle courses for his Roomba because why not.

The cat makes an appearance at the end to revel in the fact that her plan succeeded so brilliantly.

  • Krespie

That cat's response is clearly, "Holy sh*t! I didn't think that would work."

  • The_Wretched

The real story here is burried. People are filming the interior of their houses 24/7. Good luck being a guest and don't even think about going the bathroom.

Or alternatively, put on one helluva show. See if you get invited back. Either way, it's WIN-WIN.

  • It gives you so much more reason to be naked in other peoples houses.

  • TheQiwiMan

If everyone looked as good as you do naked, I'd agree, but I live in America where we have Walmart McBodies.

    No thank you.
