4.74 Seconds: Man Setting The New Rubik's Cube Solving World Record

November 7, 2016

This is a video of Mats Valk setting a new world record for the fastest Rubik's Cube solve, with a time of 4.74 seconds (previously: a 14-year old setting the first record under five seconds with 4.904). For reference, that's faster than I could even pick up a cube and try to take a bite out of it. Wait a minute...these aren't space berries! I've been hoodwinked. "Nobody said those were space berries." Yes huh, that man over there did. "What man?" The one with the cape on. "Doctor Strange?" Yes, him, now arrest him before he opens a portal to my heart and makes me fall in love with him all over again.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to TH, who always thought Rubik's Cubes were actually really complicated dice used for playing Dungeons & Dragons.
