One Man's Dream To Screencap Every Soda Machine Ever Seen In A Video Game

September 28, 2016

The Video Game Soda Machine Project is the undertaking of Jess "Decaffeinated Jedi" Morrissette, a political science professor and amateur video game developer. He wants to archive via screenshot every soda machine that's ever appeared in a video game. You can see his current progress HERE and contribute any screenshots he's missing by tweeting them to @decafjedi. I thought hard for about thirty seconds but couldn't come up with any others off the top of my head. Can you? This is really critical stuff. I'm not saying it's THE most important thing every one of you will ever do, but for at least a handful of you, I'm afraid that's the case. Dare to make a difference.

Thanks Jess, and keep up the groundbreaking work.

    wow, this is stupid.

Grog is technically not soda so this screenshot would be in error unless he really wants beverage vending machines. But then we have to ask, what constitutes a beverage vending machine? is he looking for only currency operated items or any machine that dispense fluids.

Too many variables for me. I'll just go back to eating Cheetos and putting on weight so I can hack Donald Trump once I hit the 400 pound mark.

You done goofed. The weapon you need to defeat Lechuck is retrieved from the Grog machine and is in fact, not Grog.

Doesn't matter what comes out. Its a machine for selling 'grog' so its not a 'Soda Machine'

After i lost my previous job half year back, i've had luck to know about this amazing website that was a life saver for me... They provide online tasks for people to work from their houses. My last payment after working for them for 3 months was $12k... Amazing thing about it was that only thing required is basic typing skills and reliable internet...
