I'm Melting: Timelapse Of Pills Dissolving In Water Filmed With Macro Lens

July 25, 2016

macro-pills-disolving.jpg

This is a timelapse video created by Ben O from Youtube channel The Macro Room of various pills and gel-tabs dissolving in water, filmed with a macro lens. It was pretty mesmerizing to watch. Plus it was weird to think that this is what's actually happening to pills when you put them up your butt.

Take two Advil and keep going for the video.

Thanks Ben, do some of those capsules that have fun-shaped sponges in them next.

  • This is cool and beautiful! Wish I had a macro to try this! Will this be any good with 18-50mm lens?

  • That is kind of beautiful, but it also grossed me out a little - and now I don't want to take my pills. Which is definitely not a good thing.

I had a hard time not thinking about Requiem for a Dream while watching that. I know it's about heroin and not pill addiction although Sara Goldfarb is addicted to diet pills. Maybe they should have used the song Bugs Got a Devilish Grin Conga.

  • TheQiwiMan

    Fascinating.

  • Geekologie

I could use a handful of those right about now.
