This is the US Consumer Products Safety Commission's (CPSC) annual fireworks safety video. The video, which was released July 20th, came out just a few weeks late to save any lives on the 4th of July. Oh, government, you never cease to amaze and depress. The video starts with three minutes of CPSC Chairman Elliot F. Kaye talking about the danger of fireworks, followed by four minutes of mannequins blowing their arms and faces off. Obviously that's what we all came to see. Personal highlights: daughter setting her mother on fire with a sparkler at 3:00, kid taking a bottle rocket straight to the eye socket at 3:30, guy trying to take a mortar shell bong hit at 5:10, and the decorations of the 'home fireworks manufacturing' accident at 5:43. It's really all worth a watch though, especially if you love explosions and hate mannequins.
Keep going for the video, which should auto-start at the first demonstration because let's just get to the good stuff.
Thanks to Kid Icarus, hands down one of my favorite NES titles.
