This is the Toy Story Chogokin Giant Robot available from Japanese toy manufacturer Tamashii Nations later this fall. The individual Woody, Bullseye, Rex, Hamm and Slinky Dog figures come together to form a 9-inch tall 'Woody Robo Sheriff Star'. The set will retail for $170 in Japan, but will eventually be available here in the US for even more. The company also hinted at a possible Buzz Lightyear version in the future, since he clearly didn't make the cut for this set. I remember when I was a kid I had one of the original die-cast Voltron toys. Back when toys were made out of metal! Those were the days when toys were toys, long before parents started getting outraged when their kid hurt themselves because a toy was "too dangerous." There was no such thing as too dangerous, just kids learning lessons. I remember one year I got an Easy-Bake Oven for my birthday and inside the box there wasn't anything but a brick and a note that read, "Use the real oven when you're parents are asleep."
Keep going for one more shot of the full Voltron figure.
Thanks to Christina D, who agrees they better make a Buzz Lightyear version, and it better speak and shoot lasers.
