Motion Capture Madness: Amazing CGI Dancing Figures

June 13, 2016

This is a worthwhile video created by Method Studios of a bunch of motion-captured CG figures dancing around in every variety of texture and material. It's worth a watch, even if you just skip around. It's hard to believe computer graphics are so good and these aren't just people in fabric suits. OR ARE THEY? Allegedly they are not but I can't say for certain because I wasn't there. "And on the night of the 23rd?" I was nowhere near that fire and you can't prove anything where's my lawyer I want my lawyer. Somebody call Saul.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Jeffrey S, who just invented a body swap app and oh cool I have tits now.

This tech will benefit all mankind. They'll create completely CGI celebrities with all talent forced to work in the shadows until they retire (albeit with pay equal to their talent) so as not to ruin the characters. We would then keep the talent that is there for the art and lose all the people that are famous for absolutely nothing but getting urinated on by washed up rappers.

We could lose all the "reporters" who are really just celeb-worshippers and fame-hogs and actually just have animated character read us unfiltered news straight - just facts - with no opinions so all those people would have to get jobs writing books or performing in plays (because that will still be a thing if you're into it - but they will only get to be locally known - anything televised and not in person would have to be CGI to keep it "real" which in the new world would be "totally fake".)
