This is a video of a giant octopus kite being flown at Marina Barrage in Singapore. As you can see, there is also a squid kite flying in the background. Perhaps they're about to do battle? I sure hope so, you know how I feel about doing battle. I love it is the thing. "Cool, let's fight." You touch me and I'll call the police.
It took six people to get the mammoth kite airborne, said Maggie Mok, the co-founder of a kite-flying enthusiast group known as Show Kites Singapore.
While Ms Mok, 42, who started the group with her husband Johnny Yap three years ago, declined to reveal how big the kite was, The Straits Times understands that it is about the length of five buses.
Ahahahhahaha @ "declined to reveal how big the kite was." What, is the length of your kite is some kind of super secret? Just admit you don't know. I used to love flying kites when I was a kid. Then I grew up and hit puberty and, well, you know. "Started chasing girls?" What? No. I got an R/C plane. Way funner than a kite.
Keep going for the video.
Thanks to n0nentity, who is going to make an even gianter shark kite and come eat this octopus.
