Perspective: If The World Were Just 100 People

April 12, 2016

This is a video imagining if the world were just 100 people. Basically they just turned percentages into numbers of people because that's easier for a lot of us bad mathers to visualize. It certainly helped me. Did you know if the world were 100 people that only 44 would have internet access and the other 56 would not? That means more than half the world can't even read Geekologie. And only 7 would have attended college, and 93 would not have. Also, if I did my math correctly and the world were only 100 people, you and I combined wouldn't even make up the very tip of the smallest nipple. Now that's perspective.

Keep going for the video and get your learn on.

8 out of 10 people agree that 13% of statistics are wrong/misleading, although half the people in this world are below average

I say its time for a culling in Asia. China is soon to end the one chile law (GREAT, JUST GREAT). Then they move to North America and perpetuate breeding like its the 1950's. Yes my views are incredibly cruel and evil but the conditions and populations in India and China are filthy and far too over populated (respectively speaking) ...kinda hoping a plague reduces the populations a bit.

I'm genuinely surprised that 75% of the world has cellular devices. That's nuts. Especially when 13% doesn't have clean water!
