To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Metroid game for the NES, this is a video of modern teens reacting to playing Super Metroid for the SNES (wait -- did they already do regular Metroid?). They aren't very good at it. Admittedly, Super Metroid is a pretty hard game. Kids these days, amirite? "What about them?" I don't know, I remember when I was a teenager I was like, thirteen. "What about it?" Or was I fifteen? "Are you high?" What? "Are you high?" I definitely wasn't twelve, I remember because I could almost grow facial hair. Kids these days are growing full beards in second and third grade. In third grade I wasn't growing shit but bean sprouts in Mrs. Cox's class. I think we raised butterflies too. I got so many Valentine cards that year in the brown lunch bag I decorated and taped to the front of my desk. This year I got zero Valentines. Why don't you love me? My last girlfriend said my voice was grating, is that it? What if I only speak through a Darth Vader mask from now on? Love is a two-way street, and, I'm gonna be honest, I'm driving as fast as I can in reverse and staring at my broken tape deck.
Keep going for the video.
Thanks to FR, who made a reaction video to this reaction video which sounded mostly like disdain.
