Modern Teens React To Playing Super Metroid

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Metroid game for the NES, this is a video of modern teens reacting to playing Super Metroid for the SNES (wait -- did they already do regular Metroid?). They aren't very good at it. Admittedly, Super Metroid is a pretty hard game. Kids these days, amirite? "What about them?" I don't know, I remember when I was a teenager I was like, thirteen. "What about it?" Or was I fifteen? "Are you high?" What? "Are you high?" I definitely wasn't twelve, I remember because I could almost grow facial hair. Kids these days are growing full beards in second and third grade. In third grade I wasn't growing shit but bean sprouts in Mrs. Cox's class. I think we raised butterflies too. I got so many Valentine cards that year in the brown lunch bag I decorated and taped to the front of my desk. This year I got zero Valentines. Why don't you love me? My last girlfriend said my voice was grating, is that it? What if I only speak through a Darth Vader mask from now on? Love is a two-way street, and, I'm gonna be honest, I'm driving as fast as I can in reverse and staring at my broken tape deck.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to FR, who made a reaction video to this reaction video which sounded mostly like disdain.

reacting and retardation, 2 complete different things seeing that people play this habitually on twitch most classics are still played on oh twitch

I think the point of the video is to show how hard the games were and,
the biggest surprise of all, that Samus is a girl. My brother and I
were first introduced to Metroid from this game. We had the Sega Master
System, so we never played the previous iterations. When we first
discovered that Samus was a girl, we fell in love with the game and
character even more. The last girl's reaction was great.

Thanks but no thanks, most of us avoid all content from the Fine Brothers. Appreciate the article, but will politely ignore.

Sadly, it's not most of us, we were only the vocal minority. After the whole "React" trademark fiasco, they only lost about 3% of subs, and the rest were either accounts that aren't used anymore, or people who didn't know, or people who didn't care. At one point the unsubs stopped, or were being replaced at a slightly faster rate by others who started subscribing (maybe also helped by idiots who think it's cool to sub only to unsub... just don't sub, period!) And now they are back at gaining subs at a steady rate. They'll probably regain the unsubs in less than a year. Good job, internet, you really hurt them...

They realized they fucked up, & did the smart thing

So who appointed you spokesman for us?
