Logitech Makes Giant Display Using 160 RGB Keyboards

April 27, 2016

Logitech recently had this giant pixelated screen on display at their booth at Pax East. The display was made from 160 of their G810 Orion Spectrum RGB lit gaming keyboards and played a short 8-bit style love story for people to watch (which you can also watch after the jump in case you weren't able to make it to Pax East this year because your wife is about to have a baby and you can't afford it right now or for any other reason really). Now, those keyboards cost $160 apiece, making this a $25,600 display. So, if you're in the market for a giant high-res display, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say light-up keyboards probably aren't the way to go.

Thanks to tan, who wants a giant display made out of Texas Instruments graphing calculators. Now that -- that makes sense.
