Dangerous: Colin Furze's Homemade Thermite Launcher

April 4, 2016

This is a video of Colin Furze demonstrating his homemade thermite launcher. Don't know what thermite is? Let me copy/paste something for you while I yell at my coworker to stop drumming on his desk: "[Thermite is] an especially nasty chemical composition made of metal power and oxide that burns as hot as 2,500 degrees Celsius." Damn, 2,500 degrees Celsius? That is hot. For reference, a witch's nips are -2,500 degrees Celsius. The other end of the spectrum. I wouldn't want to touch either. I'm lying to myself, I dream about touching witch nips all day every day. I'm daydreaming about them now. And now. "And now?" Yep. I've got witch nips on the brain. Just kidding, it's an inoperable tumor I've got five seconds to live somebody destroy my computer and take care of my dog byeeeeeeee.

Keep going for the video, as well as a video of the build and how to make thermite rounds because we're all going to try this at home.

Thanks to Joseph A, who agrees fun and danger go hand in hand like best friends skipping through the park.
