Cardboard Cat Houses That Look Like Famous Architectural Landmarks Around The World

April 28, 2016

These are the cardboard cat houses designed to look like seven different architectural landmarks from around the world (the Kremlin, Sphinx, Taj Mahal, White House, Pagoda, Mayan Temple and Eiffel Tower). They cost around $44 for one landmark of your choice provided they meet their Kickstarter funding goal. If they don't it looks like it's just regular Amazon shipping boxes for your cat. Not that there's anything wrong with that, my cat loves all boxes. That's the great thing about cats, the cheaper the toy, the more they like it. Buy them something expensive and they'll never use it. *eyeballing $1,200 cat treadmill in corner* I'm never getting that drunk again.

Keep going for shots of all the rest.

Thanks to Lizzy, who's holding out for a cat house that looks like the house I grew up in Alabama. SOLID CHOICE.

Cool idea but they kind of look flimsy as hell

    Hi Jenness,

    Thank you for the compliment!
We got some good news.. Despite their cool look, they are actually very strong (as you can see in the following picture):

Cats are able to play inside but also on top of the Landmarks, as we can see at our own office with our two cats - and they can thus even hold humans! ;)

    Have a nice day,

    They're not very good though.

    Hi Flubflubflub,

    Thank you for your reaction!
It is quite hard to create some small cardboard playhouses of these gigantic historical buildings - we can tell from experience;)! But, the Landmarks on the images above are only the prototypes, we have worked all night to put the stickers in place. The actual Landmarks, however, will be printed and look much more professional. We are now raising money through online crowdfunding in order to realize this and make some finer looking playhouses for everyone (our campaign is almost finished)!

    That's not the Kremlin, it's St.Basil's cathedral.

    Hi Andrew Ruthven Hughes,

Thank you for your reaction on our product and for correcting this mistake (which is so often made). You're right, the cardboard building in the picture actually the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed (also known as Saint Basil's Cathedral or Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat ) and is only a part beloning to the Kremlin! Hope you do like the Landmarks as funny playhouses for small pets though? Have a nice day,

    The Poopy Cat team
