Satisfying, Soothing: Video Of 6,000 Matches Being Lit

March 21, 2016

In news that makes me infinitely sad you can't smell Youtube videos, this is a video of 6,000 wooden matches being lit. Both the sound and visual provide for a very enjoyable experience. I just want to smell it so bad. I guess I could get 6,000 matches myself, but that sounds like a lot of effort just to smell something. "Huff some hobby glue and call it a day?" Now you're talking. You're not making sense, but you're talking.

Hit the jump for the video, then meet me after work and let's go play with fire.

  • I came.

  • bobjr94

I was expecting a bit more exciting.

  • Bender Rodriguez Senior

    The sound itself is satisfying

  • It reminds me of some women's orgasms...

  • Shegs

    I bet that smelled amazing.

  • He touched himself that night.

  • Cup-O-Jesus

I did the exact same thing once, except instead of matches I used the corpses (corpsii?) of 17 albino Pekingese-es-es and instead of a match I ripped apart a few toddlers in a pudding vat hole used kramp vapor tang shnert fneeble, several times... a day... to infested area... near you

  • Jenness

That really was satisfying and it makes a nice noise in the background. I don't have an extra 14 minutes to actually watch all of it but I can listen to it.

  • Mr.4maldehyde
  • TheQiwiMan

No one's gunna watch all 14+ minutes, right?

  • Joel Lamm

    About 13:30 too long

  • Nuhuu.
It's about 11 minutes too long.

  • CaptainGuntu

I guess he must not have a functioning smoke alarm in his house. Who the hell lights something like that inside their home?

  • JJ

Inside. On what appears to be a wooden counter top. Next video may be of this guys house burning down from the sidewalk out the front

  • Will

My thoughts exactly. The smartest place to light 6000 matches is on a wooden table :)

  • TheQiwiMan

A Real American Hero, that's who!

  • Yea, nothing screams "outdoor project" like 6,000 of something created to start fires.
