Necking: Tape Measure That Looks Like A Little Giraffe

March 28, 2016

This is Miss Meter, a $15 tape measure designed by OTOTO (and available for sale HERE) in the shape of a giraffe. The longer the tape, the long its neck gets, all the way to 2 meters (~6.5 feet). That is a long neck! Although actually pretty average for a real giraffe, whose necks measure 6 - 8 feet. Did you know giraffes have the same number (seven) of vertebrae in their necks as we do? That's true. Did you also know my penis was once mistaken for a giraffe neck? That is also true. That lion came out of nowhere.

Keep going for a shot of a couple in their natural habitat.

Thanks to Lis, who measures things the old fashioned way: just eyeballing it then having to take multiple trips back to Home Depot.

I am a fan of the needlessly clever. Sure, did anybody NEED a tape measure in the form of a giraffe? Of course not. But it is clever and fun, so good for them! :-P
