Timelapse Of Ten-Day Process Of Painting An Airplane

January 8, 2016

I bet the fumes in there were amazing.

This is a timelapse video from Southwest Airlines featuring the painting of one of their new 737 planes (the Missouri One) with an elaborate state-themed design. It takes a lot of people a lot of time and paint to make it all happen. Alternatively, park one of those planes in my neighborhood overnight and it'll be tagged from nose to tail before the sun comes up.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Tim, who has always dreamed of being an airplane. Hey -- try hard and believe in yourself. Just kidding, you can't be an airplane man, what's the matter with you?
