World's Fastest Guitar Solo Performed At 1,600 BPM

December 9, 2015

This is a video of Indian musician Nirvana B. setting a Record Setter world record for fastest guitar solo by performing Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Flight Of The Bumblebee' at 1,600 beats per minute. For reference, the fastest heart-rate ever recorded for a hummingbird is 1,260 beats per minute. My heart-rate rarely passes 20 beats per minute because I am mostly dead. The Flash was disqualified from setting the fastest guitar solo record for using performance enhancing superpowers. It's weird to see Nirvana moving so fast while that other dude wanders around so slow behind him. I actually went to see this guy in concert but it kinda sucked because I paid $40 and the whole concert only lasted six minutes.

Keep going for the video, then join me in yelling FREE BIRD until he plays it.

Thanks to Roberto, who doesn't believe in setting records because he wants other people to have them so they feel good about themselves. That's very sweet of you.
