We've Come So Far: Bridge Building Machine In Action

October 29, 2015

bridge-building-machine.jpg

This is a video of a SLJ900/32 bridge building machine doing its thing in China. The machine weighs 580 tons, is 92-meters long, and installs concrete bridge girders in places where the use of a crane is unfeasible. Pretty impressive. Personally, I don't build bridges -- I BURN THEM. Know what I'm saying? I'm saying I've alienated all my friends and family and have no one to turn to.

Keep going for a time-lapse of the machine in action.

Thanks to Kaushik, who agrees this would have been handy when we were trying to cross the moat and storm that castle the other week when we were LARPing.

It would have been perfect if it could also lay down the pillars! :D

Did somebody say less jobs because I thought I heard somebody say less jobs?

  • Bling Nye

I'm surprised there was no crack about 'how this machine is based off the larger one used to deploy my penis.'

    Am disappoint.
