Meow Meow: Modular Tetris Shaped Cat Scratching Blocks

October 23, 2015

Katris is a series of modular cardboard cat scratching blocks in the form of Tetris shapes, designed by Papercraft Lab. When stacked, they can double as shelves, tables, or anything else you want a cat to knock things off of.

Multi-functional, Katris is a cat climbing tree, a bookshelf, a cat scratcher, a coffee table, a shoe rack, and so much more. In fact, the ways that you can interact with and use Katris are limitless. Katris gives you the perfect opportunity to let your imagination run wild to support your creative curiosity.

I don't know, making furniture out of cat scratchers seems kind of counter-intuitive. Like, do you really want to build a shelving unit out of blocks a cat is going to be scratching and shaking? Of course you do, what could possibly go wrong? *comes home to a pile of broken Precious Moments figurines* Nooooooooooooooo.

Keep going for a couple more shots and a video.

Thanks to LD, who built a bookshelf out of catnip and now has cats who can read.

My cat would still rather scratch all of the furniture.

Even though I don't own any cats (and never will) I'd still buy this.

It doesn't matter how sexy you design cat accessories...

...your house is still going to be covered with fur and reek of cat urine.
