How Aquariums Keep Intelligent Octopuses Stimulated

October 28, 2015

This is short video from the Steinhart Aquarium at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco detailing how biologists keep captive octopuses stimulated so they don't get depressed. Apparently they give them puzzles and toys and BODY MASSAGES. I wish I got body massages. I have only had two massages in my whole life, and both times I got so relaxed I started falling asleep and farting. I disgust myself so hard.

Hit the jump for the video, then rub my tentacles.

Thanks to Allen, who informed me he gets stimulated in different ways. You dog, you!
