This is a video of NBA Miami Heat dancer Teressa Cee after a friend dropped her iPhone in the ocean off Blue Lagoon Island in the Bahamas. A local dolphin goes and picks it up and brings it back up to them. Dolphins: they are way nicer than people.
"We were on a floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. So, against a my better judgment I asked someone to hold my phone for me and he accidentally dropped my phone into water and it sank to the bottom. Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me. Cutest thing ever!"
But did the phone still work? Because my phone went for a swim in the ocean once and it died. The doctor (technically a guy in a red polo at the phone repair store) tried to bring it back to life, but it didn't make it. I buried it at sea. No, no I didn't. I took it apart and glued the electronics to the side of my head to pretend I'm a cyborg.
Keep going for the video.
Thanks to Ash, who agrees throwing things in the ocean to dispose of evidence might not be the foolproof plan I've always thought it was.
