Eye Candy: Watch Jupiter Spin In Ultra High-Definition

This is a short NASA video starring Jupiter spinning in 4K ultra high-definition. Jupiter is such a beautiful, terrifying planet. Did you know Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system (it's great red spot is about the size of earth) and still only 1/1,000th the size of the sun? Science! I just watched this video on my new 4K TV for the full effect, and let me tell you -- it was awe inspiring. As a matter of fact, my roommate, who is currently high, is still staring at the television and I turned it off ten minutes ago. Hey -- Derek! "Huh?" The video is over. Also, your mom called. "What did she want?" My nuts! "Haha, very funny." I'm serious, she wants to take me to the movies tonight. If I play my cards right I could be your dad.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to Marietta, who's convinced Jupiter's red spot is actually an alien spaceship orbiting the planet, and she is 100% correct.
