The Tarzan Boat: Buy Your Own Floating Waterpark

September 10, 2015

The Tarzan Boat is a boat with a bunch of jumping platforms and trampolines and rope swings and a slide attached. Sadly, there is no circus cannon. It still looks like a great time though. Unfortunately, they cost $65,000 and up, making it far more cost effective to score some acid, a kiddie pool, and some of those giant foam noodles. Trust me, you won't know the difference.

Hit the jump for a commercial for the thing. It's a shame they didn't make it look like a pirate ship.

Thanks to Taylor A, who agrees there should at least be a catapult or trebuchet you can ride.

Unless they are somehow affiliated with Disney they're gonna need to do some rebranding to avoid litigation asap.
Edit - probably should've read the top comment before posting ><

Tarzan is a fictional character first appeared in the novel Tarzan of the Apes magazine publication 1912

If they just used the "Tarzan" name it'd probably be fine - unfortunately this company is also using Disney's animated representation of the Tarzan character from the 1999 film within their logo, social media and printed collateral. This is a clear breach of copyright unless they're affiliated.

Not even close , Tarzan is in the public domain and this font is not close to the 1999 production.

I said nothing about the font - I said they're using the animated character, referring to the depiction of the person. I also specifically said the Tarzan name is probably fine - so not entirely sure what I'm Not Even Close to.

Jesus Christ that video is over 3 minutes long

I would have called it, "Crazy Lawsuit Land".

Good thing the middle class is dwindling. . . 😡
