Making Casts By Pouring Molten Aluminum In Melons

This is a video of The Backyard Scientist finding out what sort of shapes will be formed by pouring molten aluminum in different melons (honeydew and cantaloupe -- he previously did watermelon HERE). The honeydew makes a hand grenade shape. That's cool. You know, I think I'm going to open an Etsy shop where I pour aluminum in things and sell the casts. I'm going to make a fortune! "This is a turd spraypainted silver." IT'S THE INSIDE OF A BANANA.

Keep going for the video, then leave a comment about how you thought a post about casting melons was going to be way more sexual in nature.

Thanks again to hairless, who, for two tips in two days, gets a toupée. "Is that...a ball of cat fur?" Yes it is.
