Composite Of The Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse Over Dallas

September 29, 2015

Higher res version HERE.

This is a composite shot created by photographer Mike Mezeul II of Sunday's blood moon lunar eclipse moving across the Dallas skyline. Beautiful, isn't it? It's hard to believe there's a planet so close to us. "The moon is not a planet." The moon is whatever I say it is because I have *exposing hand from behind back* Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet! "That's an oven mitt with plastic jewels glued on." Shhhhhh, don't tell my mom, I'm pretty sure it was her last oven mitt. Plus I'm not allowed to use the hot glue gun.

Thanks to Erica, who encourages you all to show this picture to a friend and try to convince them Sunday was the first time we were able to see all of earth's 19 moons at the same time in two million years.

    Looks shopped

That's cause it is, we don't have 19 moons of varying colors and sizes randomly in the sky at once....

Ugh...I'm well aware of that. I meant that the moons don't actually look like they belong in the picture, as if they were taken from a different source
