Sadness: Lamborghini Driving, Sick Kid Visiting Batman Dies After Being Struck By Car

August 17, 2015

Remember the Lamborghini driving Batman that went to visit sick kids in the hospital around Maryland? Well sadly, the man behind the mask -- 51-year old Lenny B. Robinson, was struck and killed by another motorist after his Lamborghini broke down on the highway.

Robinson was having engine trouble and stopped "partially in the fast lane," according to a state police news release. He was checking the engine when the Batmobile was struck by a Toyota Camry. The Batmobile then hit him.

Batman will be remembered by all the lives he impacted, and the positive change he brought to the world. *cutting power to Bat-Signal* Rest in peace, Dark Knight.

    Well... that's a downer..

  • Deksam

Lambo breaks down on a freeway. Then he gets hit... I guess it was his time. RIP Batman.

  • GeneralDisorder

Honestly, he had a Gallardo. It's not exactly known for its reliability. He should have probably had a flatbed following him around everywhere he went once the car went over 10,000 miles.

  • FearlessFarris

I live my life "partially in the fast lane."

  • Hayley Prychun Rodgers

    So sad!

  • Grant Kruger

A Camry! My prejudices concerning Camry drivers remain intact...

Was the car purple? Was there maniacal laughter from within? Would the Joker even bother if Batman did nothing but visit sick kids in the hospital?

    Rest in peace good sir.

  • Leland_Gaunt

So sad. God I hate people sometimes...

  • asdfasdf

    "hate people"

that seems to be the opposite reaction he was going for
