Stephen Hawking Performs Monty Python Song To Celebrate Record Day

April 15, 2015

This is a video of Stephen Hawking singing the Galaxy Song from Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life. It was recorded to celebrate Record Day on April 18th, when it will be available as a limited edition 7" vinyl. Man, I wish I had a spaceship wheelchair. Or any kind of spaceship. Or any kind of wheelchair -- I'm tired of walking. I was walking to Gamestop over the weekend and I saw a lady in one of those motorized scooter chairs with two full grown adult men riding on her lap. I wanted to make it three, but they weren't having it.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Mario, who agrees Stephen Hawking belongs in a church choir.

I'm a skeptical sort... Is Mr. Hawking involved in this or did someone use a similar speech module to make the song and cobble together video samples for the song?

  • TheQiwiMan

I'm skeptical too. I doubt his wheelchair can blast him off into interplanetary space.

  • GeneralDisorder

I'm pretty sure if anyone's wheelchair could blast them into interplanetary space, Mr. Hawking's chair could.

Check out the video on youtube for some great trolling and fanatical arguing about science and God and Dog and genocide and slavery and homosexuality! Also, there's this cool video with Stephen Hawking singing Monty Python's Universe song.

  • Cup-O-Jesus

Wait, why am I first? Is today a holiday or something?

  • Cup-O-Jesus

no dingus it's just that most people have day jobs and are out earning a living and creating things, helping people, making a difference while you sit at your dead end, boring ass job surfing the net.
