Man Lulls Crying Baby To Sleep w/ Darth Vader Breathing

This is a video of Youtuber Buddy Crotty lulling his crying baby daughter back to sleep with the sound of Darth Vader's breathing. It's pretty effective. When I was a baby my parents used to lull me to sleep with the sound of heavy metal and now I can't go to a concert without falling asleep in the mosh pit and getting my arms torn off.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to my buddy Brian, whose parents lulled him to sleep with the sound of running water and who still has a bed-wetting problem to this day.

Babies love white noise, that is all. They also are calmed by being tightly encased in a blanket, it's just returning them to the familiarity of the womb.

Probably sounds like when her mother was breathing before she was born.

I have heard that when babies are in the womb, since they are surrounded by liquid, they basically hear a soft white noise hum 24/7, and so, doing a soft shhh sound in their ear might calm a baby down. I tried it without much success (maybe the baby was hungry or I was doing the noise at the wrong pitch), but it also makes sense that through the noise, they could hear their mother breathing, so I wouldn't be surprised if you are right.

    Rule 63 right there.
