College Student Builds Own Punch And Stab Proof Batsuit

April 10, 2015

These are several videos of Philadelphia University student Gordon Jackson (who can almost do the splits) testing the homemade Batsuit he built out of Kevlar, Kydex padding (not to be confused with Kotex padding, which is mostly cotton) and impact-resistant foam that is punch, kick, baseball bat and knife proof. Impressive, but the real question is whether or not it can stop Robin's advances.

Keep going for the stress testing.

Thanks to Josh J, who built his own Batsuit out of cardboard because Kevlar is expensive.

Oh god. It's David Brent and Star Wars Kid's arseborn.

    Yay? I guess...

Does anyone have the links to that guy who tried to build the real world equivalent of Spartan Armor from Halo? If I remember correctly the only thing it couldn't take was fire, and it could take a 12 gauge shotgun blast to the crotch at point blank range with no damage to the user.

This dude should team up with Phoenix Jones and really kick some asses.

This was a pretty nice experiment. I could see great potentials for this gear's materials for sports. At first thought "what about security?" and was then quickly followed with "oh...right...guns".

LOL, he looks like Mac on Its always sunny when he is doing his sweat ninja moves on the first video......

"How will it hold up against dogs?"

"We talking Rottweilers or Chihuahuas? Should do fine against cats."
