Note: Much larger version HERE so you'll have an easier time spotting the cat.

This is a chart of dog breeds created by designer David McCandless that ranks the breeds by popularity and an overall data score consisting of intelligence, integrity, ailments, cost, grooming and appetite. Obviously, there are plenty of arguments to make, particularly if you own a bulldog. I was just happy to see there weren't too many breeds in the 'rightfully ignored' area because all dogs deserve a loving home. Personally, I like anything that comes in the form of a rescue. The best breed of all time? Mutts. I did one of those mouth-swab DNA tests on my dog and it determined she was between 20% - 36% Beagle, 20% - 36% German Shorthaired Pointer, 10% - 19% Dalmatian, 10% - 19% English Setter, 10% - 19% Great Dane, and 110% perfect in every way. Miss you Chloe, every day.

Thanks to Grandpa Pink, who has a turtle and wants it recognized as an official breed by the American Kennel Club.
