Oklahoma Architects Design Tornado Shaped Tower

March 9, 2015

The architectural firm of Kinslow, Keith & Todd have designed a tornado shaped tower for downtown Tulsa they hope will one day house a severe weather laboratory and research center, as well as an Oklahoma weather museum. I can't wait for that field trip! You think the tower will eventually get taken out by a real tornado? You never know -- the weather gods don't like being taunted. Poseidon either (I'm gonna pee in every ocean before I die!). So, how many security guards do you think are gonna quit after getting tired of hearing, "I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore," from super clever tourists? Because my guess is all of them.

Keep going for a rendering of the tower at night, and a cross section.

Thanks to dogs are people too, who clearly has strong opinions about animals.

It probably WILL be taken out by a real tornado!

Has anyone else seen Gurren Lagann? This looks like Teppelin, the palace of Lord Genome.

What, no slide on the outside from the top floor to the bottom?? What a wasted opportunity, and poor design. I hope this is never built (unless they add the slide).

Really, this architect is just trying to ignore his passion for the fallus. Painfully obvious.

Well, you cocked that one up, it's spelled PHALLUS.
