Michael Bolton Playing Michael Bolton In Office Space

You ever wanted to see a couple scenes from Office Space with musician Michael Bolton playing Michael Bolton (David Herman's character) in the movie? Because that's what this is. And it only took sixteen years from when the movie came out. It's like how that one saying goes: things come to those who wait. "Don't you mean GOOD things come to those who wait?" No I do not. You know what I got the last time I waited? A past due notice and my cable and internet shut off.

Keep going for the short, then go watch the rest of the day's most important videos over at Hedonistica. Just saying, I didn't even know what a planthopper nymph was, but now I can't live without them.

  • TheQiwiMan

*sigh* Why do I still click play even after I see it's from Funny or Die?

  • ZerglingPack

That's exactly what I thought as well.

  • Stannis

I was expecting him to break out in song, not re-enact every scene.

  • Elak Swindell

Humorous, but not great. What's up with Michael's complexion though? He was so yellow, he appeared to have jaundice.

  • JJtoob

Well, I for one welcome our robot over.. oh wait, I mean, this video was funny LOL

  • Roark

Next, I want Michael McDonald to play David in the 40 Year old Virgin:
[the same Michael McDonald sampler DVD has been playing on all of the television screens for the last two years]
David: If I have to hear "Yamo Be There" one more time, I'm going to "Yamo" burn this place to the ground.

  • Ollie Williams

The fact that he changes "no-talent assclown" to "very talented assclown" annoys me. If you're going to have a sense of humor about it and do the skit, don't be a douche and change the verbiage.

  • "Semantics are important when it comes to satire based on a comedy movie."

  • Ollie Williams

I'm not sure you know what semantics means. The change in verbiage has nothing to do with the meaning behind it. That's like saying an 8 year old's drawing of the Mona Lisa is exactly the same as the original, except for semantics.

  • WronglyRabbit

Agreed, although I think your point would have been made better in all caps.

  • cardstock

He's not playing Micael Bolton's character, he's playing David Herman's character, Michael Bolton. This is important.

  • Ollie Williams

Semantics are important when it comes to satire based on a comedy movie.

  • cardstock

It is in fact the most important thing that has ever happened or ever will happen. Even the limitless power of the human imagination cannot fathom a single thing more important than this. Semantics today, semantics tomorrow, semantics forever.
